2. Overview
This website is a personal publication. It does not use tracking cookies, advertising, social media plugins, contact forms or newsletter tools, and it does not load fonts from third-party servers. The only third-party service involved is Cloudflare (see section 4). We only process the personal data that is technically necessary to deliver the website and to answer emails you send us.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit the website, the server automatically records information in log files that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, browser type and version, and operating system. This data is required to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and error-free operation of the website. Log data is stored for a limited period only and then deleted. IONOS processes this data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).
4. Content delivery and security (Cloudflare)
Requests to this website are routed through the network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, which protects the website against attacks and delivers it quickly and in encrypted form. In the process, Cloudflare processes connection data such as your IP address and technical information about your browser. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic. Data may be transferred to the USA; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and, for strictly necessary cookies, § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG. 5. Cookies
This website does not set any cookies for tracking or marketing purposes. We use the consent tool CookieYes, which runs entirely on our own server. It stores your cookie choice in a strictly necessary cookie (“cookieyes-consent”, retained for one year). Apart from this and the security cookie described in section 4, cookies are only set when an administrator logs in to the website. The legal basis for strictly necessary cookies is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG.
6. Contact by email
If you write to us by email, we process the data you provide (such as your name, email address and message) in order to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We delete the data once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention periods apply.

You have the right to access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21).
